University of Calgary (U of C) Continuing Education offers distance education via the internet. By taking the learning experience out of the classroom and into the student’s world, it provides a learning option that caters to a busy schedule. It uses the Internet for access to learning materials and for interaction with instructors and fellow learners. It is flexible and convenient without geographical barriers.
